Show Notes:
– This show marked the first ever performance of the intro of ‘Wasteoid’, a brand new song. The song starts off with an ambient intro by Wes while Fred talks or animates the crowd to go crazy before the song intro kicks in. This was done three times in a row, before the band started with ‘Why Try’.
– This was the first of only two performances of ‘Why Try’ in 2019. The song was played until the second chorus.
– ‘Nobody Loves Me’ had a shorter bridge than usual.
– Fred started singing the french national anthem and let the crowd finish before ‘My Generation’.
– ‘I’m Broke’ was on the setlist after ‘Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)’ but dropped during the show.
– DJ Lethal played ‘A Lesson Learned’ over the PA after ‘Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)’.
– ‘Re-Arranged’ was played in it’s shorter version until the end of the bridge and went straight into ‘Eat You Alive’. This was the first time ever that these songs transitioned into each other and that ‘Re-Arranged’ was played in Drop D guitar tuning.
– DJ Lethal played ‘An Occasional Man’ by Gloria DeHaven (Don Tiki version) over the PA while Wes sang over it after ‘Eat You Alive’. After that he played ‘Jump Around’ by House Of Pain, the ‘Seven Nation Army’ by The White Stripes remix and ‘Walk’ by Pantera over the PA.
– Wes jammed the intros of ‘Sweet Child ‘O Mine’ by Guns N’Roses and ‘Wasted Years’ by Iron Maiden before Wes started ‘Break Stuff’.
and the intro and bridge of ‘Master Of Puppets’ by Metallica.
– The band played the Nirvana Medley after ‘Break Stuff’ including ‘Heart-Shaped Box’ and ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ until the first chorus. After that, Wes and John jammed the intro and bridge of ‘Master Of Puppets’ by Metallica before Wes started ‘Take A Look Around’.
– After the band left the stage, the crowd started chanting for an encore heavily for multiple minutes.
– Soundcheck of this show included ‘Wasteoid’ intro into ‘Why Try’, ‘Leech’ and ‘Walking Away’.
Other Notes:
– Sold out show. 2800 people were in attendance.
– This was the first headline show in France since 2015.
