Show Notes:
– Wes and John briefly jammed the intro of ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ by Guns n’ Roses before ‘Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)’.
– DJ Lethal played the following interludes over the PA at this show: ‘Rawhide’ in A (originally by Frankie Laine, performed by The Blues Brothers) and ‘…Baby One More Time’ by Britney Spears (after ‘Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)’), ‘Party Up (Up In Here)’ by DMX, ‘Walk’ by Pantera (after ‘Livin’ It Up’), ‘A Lesson Learned’ (after ‘Break Stuff’, first time on the tour), ‘Careless Whisper’ by George Michael (after ‘Faith’ (George Michael cover)). Fred made the people in the crowd slow dance with each other for ‘Careless Whisper’ while he slow-danced with Wes.
– Wes and John briefly jammed the bridge and intro of ‘Master Of Puppets’ by Metallica before ‘Hot Dog’.
– Fred got a fan up on stage to join him on vocals from the first chorus of ‘Hot Dog’ to the end of the song.
– Wes briefly jammed the intro of ‘South Of Heaven’ and the bridge of ‘Angel Of Death’ (both by Slayer) before starting ‘Break Stuff’ which did not close the show for the second and last time on this tour.
– When Fred asked for requests after ‘Break Stuff’, someone in the crowd shouted ‘Eat You Alive’ but Fred was not in the mood to play that song. After that someone else shouted ‘Trust?’, causing Fred to admit that they forgot how to play that one. However Wes started the song and the rest of the band minus Fred joined him. Fred asked them “are you serious?”. Just before the the first verse was supposed to start Fred brushed it off. As Wes started ‘Re-Arranged’ right after Fred admitted that he was down to play ‘Counterfeit’.
‘Re-Arranged’ was played until the bridge and blended into the intro kick in of ‘Boiler’.
– ‘Thieves’ (Ministry cover) wasn’t on the setlist but spontaneously played in it’s very short version to get the crowd going.
– ‘Nookie’ was played until the second chorus and went straight into ‘Full Nelson’ which had a fan called Tristan joining Fred on vocals. Fred invited him to sit down on the recliner after the song.
– After ‘Gold Cobra’ Fred asked the crowd if the crowd wanted to hear any other song causing Wes to jam the intro of ‘9 Teen 90 Nine’ before Fred told him that he is down to play ‘Counterfeit’. Wes then started that song which was played until the second chorus. Fred didn’t do his vocals for the first half of the first verse.
Other Notes:
– This was the first time that the band played in Youngstown.
